City Way Health discuss what ADSS staff can do to help prevent MSK related conditions
City Way Health are not just about treating and rehabilitating patients. We also passionate about sharing tips, advice and supporting those around us to help prevent a continued rise in MSK related conditions. So the recent talk from David to staff at the wonderful charity ADSS was incredibly timely, important and inspiring.
City way Health have supported ADSS for a number of years by helping to raise funds to support the amazing work they do to support and care for those affected by Alzheimers and Dementia.
Since 1991, ADSS have been empowering people in north and west Kent and Medway to live well with dementia. Through their Dementia Support, Dementia Care and Dementia Wellbeing services, they aim to help people affected by dementia to manage their symptoms, stay engaged with family, friends and the wider community and take back control of their lives.
On Friday 24th April David was invited in to talk to the staff not only about what MSK wellbeing is but more importantly share simple changes that staff can make in their every day lives. The hour talk was incredibly insightful and inspiring for all staff as it enables staff to recognise small simple changes that they can start to make.
It was a real honor to support ADSS and give a little bit back to a charity who are incredibly humble yet work tirelessly to help others
